About the Logo

Our logo was designed to convey the interconnectedness of the four elements of a sustainable community: the four colors of the interlocking leaves or petals represent the natural environment, the man-made environment, the economy and our social systems. The vibrant color palette is mean to evoke an upbeat and positive attitude. The goal of creating a more sustainable community should not be one of doom and gloom. 

The 3-D effect of the logo is a reminder that there are many dimensions and much depth to the discussion of sustainability. The rolling effect of the graphic element conveys action and movement; there is a goal towards which we are progressing.
